Prof. Iyiola Oladunjoye Tella is the Deputy of The First Technical University. He is the Presiding Pastor of the Saint Alive ministries aka Lighthouse. He has been of great impact especially to the youth and young adults.Promoted a full professor in 2008, he has published more than 50 peer-reviewed research articles and supervised more than 45 successful postgraduate candidates, of which 16 are PhD. He was, at a time, a Senior Research Advisor at Shell Petroleum Development Company (biodiversity matters) and, for several years, he has served as Lead Consultant for biodiversity studies and environmental audits commissioned by oil and gas companies (in the Niger Delta), and for several companies with interest in renewable energy (in Northern Nigeria). Professor Tella is active in several collaborative research works that span ecosystems restoration, plant-site interactions, ethnoforestry, ecosystem valuation, bioenergy, sustainable rural livelihoods, ecological modeling and sustainable development policy. He is married to Dr. Dupe Tella and they are blessed with children. See less
